Global food waste is growing so much that a third of the food we buy is thrown into the dustbin.

In this project I have created a product that increases the value of eating leftovers and thus reducing the waste of food.

The result is Eila, which consists of two pieces of bone china with an East India-inspired decor that tells a story about food life-cycle. The target is to give the user an eye-opener to the amount of time and energy that has been put into the food before it ends up on the plate.
